The teachers here at Molly's Music are some of the most talented, well-rounded music teachers in the County. They have a great level of expertise, professional experience, recording time, and a great feel for what the student needs - on a personal level of performance. But beyond that, they know how to keep students motivated, having fun, and enjoying the power of music expression to reach their full potential.

Molly has been a musician for over 20 years. She was trained in vocal technique by Andrew Boettner and Bruce McClurg and studied vocal performance techniques in New York City under vocal coach, Jay Bradley. She was also classically trained in piano by teachers Rizia Lin and Ron Anderson and has progressed up to level 10 in the Certificate of Merit program.

Janelle’s musical interest began in childhood when she discovered a passion for belting out show tunes and 80's pop hits. She pursued that interest by becoming professionally trained in voice and piano by a top Broadway teacher based in New York. She later went on to study voice and music in college and traveled in various professional choirs during her studies at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. Janelle finished her Bachelor's degree in Music at California State University Northridge with an emphasis in music therapy.

She has been teaching piano and voice to all ages and levels for over five years. As a teacher she finds it rewarding to see her music students grow and flourish as musicians. Janelle emphasizes the importance of learning the rudiments of music to build a good foundation (scales, chord vocabulary, theory, song-composition, performing techniques), while also being fun and creative throughout the lessons. She bases the lessons on whatever the interests and strengths are for the student. For example, if a student prefers pop over classical then she will focus on pop. Janelle loves teaching music; the genre is up to you.

Janelle is also a recording artist and singer songwriter and has recently completed her debut album. She sings and performs both her music and poetry throughout Orange County. For students who show an interest in songwriting, she can tailor specific lessons towards composition of music and lyrics if so desired. 

She enjoys getting to know her students and loves to add a creative flair to her lessons while gently reminding the students of the importance of consistent practice, diligence, and patience in learning a new instrument.

Molly Ginther has been playing guitar since the age of 11. In 2004, she began her guitar studies at Irvine Art and Music in Irvine, California. In 2008, she began studying with guitarist, Will Brady, long-time member of the Orange County band, "Honk."

Molly is also an accomplished singer-songwriter, performing her music throughout Orange County and having been invited to perform a set of original songs at the June Lake Loop Mountain Music Festival in June Lake, California in both 2010 and 2011.

Molly's voice training includes study with Molly Gutman since 2008. Molly Ginther specializes in teaching guitar-based pop, rock, and alternative music.
